Speaking to Community Groups such as the W.I. or similar, retired employees or current staff sections of companies is all about raising much-needed awareness of the need for Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney. It's also about educating people about the many threats to family wealth - and how to protect against them, answering general queries and getting rid of myths and misunderstandings. This is something else the Will Lady does on a regular basis - and all in return for minimal expenses and a cuppa (and a charity donation if possible).
You might think it doesn't sound like the most enjoyable subject matter for an evening's entertainment, but here's what recent attendees at local talks had to say:
"An excellent and most revealing talk - I'm sure we have all learned a great deal this evening - many thanks"
"Very interesting and informative"
"Very well put over and easy to understand"
Another group rated their talk 5 out of 5 for interest, 'very' relevant to them, and voted both the tone and presentation 'good'. "Verdict - a good meeting - thank you".
(and there were even quite a few laughs as well!)
Will Clinics are another way of helping out in the community, seeing people on a one to one basis, for local charities such as Age Concern East Riding of Yorkshire and also for the residents of retirement and sheltered housing complexes throughout Hull and the East Riding. These are an extremely valuable way for people to set their minds at rest over a niggling concern, clear up a misunderstanding or reassure themselves that their current arrangements will actually work. They don't have to spend time or money on an appointment in town and can keep warm, comfortable and secure in their own surroundings.
Lasting Power of Attorney is often vital for residents of residential care homes and recommended by the care home operators and local authorities. We are proud to have been recommended by our local Social Services Welfare Officer, following excellent feedback from clients, to provide a caring, expert and problem-free service to clients in these circumstances. Equally importantly, we are recognised as being probably the most affordable service specialist available locally.
If you are an individual or an organisation who would benefit from arranging any of the above or similar to suit your needs, please contact The Will Lady on 01964 542315 to discuss.
Group talks are currently being booked into 2012!
